Creation and development

Founded in 1983, Delta took its first steps as a company involved in the creation of telecommunication infrastructures.At the beginning of the 90s, Delta started a development process which led it to position itself asSystem Integrator within "Fonia e Dati" on a national level. The next step was taken in 1994 when,thanks to the fusion of Delta Impianti srl with other Information & Communication Technologycompanies located in other Italian regions, Delta became a Stock Company, with a stock capital ofone million Euro.

With a 17 years experience in the telecommunications sector, Delta mainly operates in the following areas: infrastructures and structured cabling, networking, telephone and Voice Over IP, video-conference, networks and security, by supplying a complete cycle of services, ranging from consulting, design and engineering, installation, basic and advanced maintenance: specialized centers and full Outsourcing.

The market on-going development, the request for integration and the unremitting evolution of technologies, so typical of the New Economy, have dictated Delta its new Mission statement: to supply and manage advanced and integrated solutions and services within the Information & Communication Technology market, in order to help its customers to meet their commercial and financial targets.

Thanks to its widespread presence, Delta is committed to create, maintain and provide assistance for cabling, networking and telecommunication infrastructures in general, which are indispensable to optimize the information flow within a company and to develop its business. Territorial coverage The widespread presence of Delta on the territory, both for manufacturing, infrastructure and services, can certainly be regarded as a major point of strength; in fact, it allows Delta to meet medium and large size customers’ needs, having branch office-based structures, and to meet agreed deadlines.

Besides the new office in Colnago (MI), Delta has branch offices in Torino, Brescia, Venezia, Genova, Imola, Firenze, Roma and Napoli; we must not forget the peripheral technical units which play a key role in assuring on-time interventions on the entire national territory.

Local offices are coordinated by central management and they represent the reference structure, with a solid organization defined in the Delta Quality System; they include specialized personnel capable of offering the best real-time solutions to a diversified range of customers’ issues.
