The conference of the international exhibition of digital arts and applied research of MEDIARTECH [Digital Renaissance]. MEDIARTECH is an annual multimedia show dedicated to technological research, cultural heritage visual and performing arts, Financed by Tuscany Hi Tech Network and promoted by the region of Tuscany/Italy.

Myron Krueger [USA] Pioneer of virtual reality and interactive art, and one of the first artists to focus in interactivity as an artistic medium.

Masaki Fujihata [Japan] Media artist, Associate Professor, Faculty of Environmental Information, Keio University. Received the Golden Nica, from Ars Electronic Center, Linz, Austria, for his interactive piece ‘Global Interior project #2” and the MultiMedia Grandprix from Japan for “Beyond pages”.

Joachim Sauter [Germany] Creative Director Cofounder and Chairman of ART+COM e.V., Professor for digital media at the University of the Arts, Berlin. Adjunct Professor University of California, Los Angeles.

David Cole [USA] computer scientist and president of The Aqua Thought Foundation is a privately funded research organization dedicated to the exploration of human-dolphin interaction.

Prof. Francesco Antinucci [Italy] Italian National Research Council CNR, Rome, Italy. He directs the section of Process Cognitive of New Technology of the Institute of Psychology of CNR.

Katiuska Borges [Venezuela] Multimedia artist. MA in Interactive Multimedia at the London Institute.

Gianfranco Iannuzzi [Italy] Multimedia artist. Uses photography as a visual communication tool integrated with other art forms, to create interactive theatre environment.

Jesus Alido [Spain] Media artist and researcher. Founder and art Director of the Virtual Reality Department at Cyberspace at the Institute of Arts and Technology, University of San Francisco, Madrid, Spain.

Prof. Dan Sandin [USA] Director of the Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL) and a professor in the School of Art and Design at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and an adjunct professor at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA).

Alfredo Miti [Italy] Sound researcher and multimedia artist specialized in three-dimensional sound and holophony.

Prof. Massimo Bergamasco [Italy] Mechanical Engineering. Since 1991 he has been in charge of the PERCRO (Perceptual Robotics) robotics research laboratory at the Scuola Superiore S. Anna of the University of Pisa.

Prof. Danilo de Rossi [Italy] Centro E. Piaggio, Pisa University. Chemical engineer was a researcher at the Institute of Clinical Physiology of C.N.R. At the present he is professor of Bioengineering at the engineering department of the University of Pisa.
