Lab “Crossover Team,” Web Lab, White Oak Plantation,
February 20, to February 25, 2001, Florida, USA.
The
nominee was selected from 400 participants to be part of
the “Crossover Team: Studio A.” Web Lab, which
organized “Crossover,” is a non-profit new media
lab/think-tank that creates innovative, interactive projects
which demonstrate how the Web can make a lasting impact
on people and society, Marc Weiss, the creator of the celebrated
public TV series “P.O.V.” Web Lab is associated
with the following core advisory groups, supporting organizations,
and founders: the Rockefeller Foundation, the Howard Gilman
Foundation, Sundance Institute, the Directors Guild of America,
the Banff New Media Institute, The American Federation of
Television and Radio Artists, Art Byte, The Association
of Independent Video and Filmmakers, Creative Capital, The
Film Arts Foundation, The Independent Feature Project (IFP),
Independent Television Service (ITVS), New York New Media
