RESEARCH
VISION [AADT]
My
vision converges functionality and fantasy in its highest expression
with a new system of living and interacting with the impossible.
New
emerging technologies, engineering developments, and electronic
media are radically changing lifestyles and shaping the arts,
design and architecture. This unprecedented new electronic age
requires an equally unprecedented and brand-new approach to architecture,
design and the arts.
The
use of electronic media, advanced communications and technology
can actively enhance design, not only in terms of quality services,
but also in technological and intelligent features that allow
new ways of living, working and learning with a connectivity and
adaptability suitable for the new generation’s needs.
There is also a need to explore and focus on concept, form, and
aesthetic in order to produce more poetic interfaces between the
living space and those who inhabit it.
My
activity ranges from addressing the results and production of
the design practice, to researching the outcome of intersecting
disciplines such us art, architecture, design and technology,
and bringing these art forms into relationship, emphasizing experimental
approaches for implementation and development.
I
work on cutting edge design and research projects with a futuristic
vision, rooted in the present. I aim to take what only seems possible
in the future, and implement it in the present.
I
like to actively use the power of architecture, design, art and
digital media to maintain, expand, and explore the equilibrium
between fantasy, aesthetics, technology, efficiency and human
interaction.
My
current research and work focuses on the integration of four main
areas: Architecture, Design, Art and Technology. Through the use
of cutting edge media technology, I expect to create pioneering
projects, constructing new forms and innovative solutions in architecture
and design from urban habitats, landscaping, and multi-user recreational
and tourist destinations, to high-tech intelligent multi-purpose
buildings, and architectonic solutions with challenging technological
features.
