Fischnaller is life-long learner multifaceted media scholar, artists, designer and producer operating in the fields of art, design, architecture, technology, science, and information technology.

Involved in an on-going growth of trans-media experiments departing from the principle of an “unframed” process of creativity, Fischnaller is actively engaged in research, design, production and teaching. Fischnaller activity ranges from addressing the results and production of the design practice to researching of intersecting multilayered convergence of disciplines such us art, architecture, design and technology, and bringing these art forms into relationship, emphasizing experimental approaches for implementation and development.

Fischnaller continued to create groundbreaking art works in which emerging technologies plays an active role. He is author of the following works: The Multi Mega Boook, Tracking the Net”, ”The Last Supper Interactive", "Pinocchio Interactive", Lautriv Chromagnon Medusa, Tracking The Net, Planet S.R.A.M., Virtual Necktie, Robots Avatars dreaming with virtual illusions, Mundis Uptodates, Amazonas Interactive, Meta Net Page, CityCluster and S0E| tech-utopia-space virtual journey.
Fischnaller’s is currently working on different projects and productions linking technology with architecture, art, design and entertainment. Designing new forms and innovative solutions in architecture and design from urban habitats, landscaping, multi-user recreational and tourist destinations, and high-tech intelligent multi-purpose buildings, to iconic architectonic solutions with challenging technological features and new forms of entertainment technology and digital entertainment.

Fischnaller concepts and designs stem from the conviction that radical changes in technology, tele-communication, interactive media, advanced communication, science, discovery, innovation, engineering developments, and transportation are radically… changing human habitats, consumer values, lifestyles, travel destination, attitude and ways of entertaining themselves …affecting the growth and quality of the leisure tourism and entertainment industry, and initiating new types of industry and business. This unprecedented new electronic age requires an equally unprecedented and brand-new approach to urbanism, architecture, design arts and lifestyle.

Fischnaller aims to create pioneering projects, to design new habitats and architectonic solutions by actively integrating the use of electronic media, advanced communications technology, Augmented reality features multi-sensory simulation technology, AI, and new kinds of human-networking interfaces that allow new ways of living, working and learning with a connectivity and adaptability suitable for the new generation’s needs.

Fischnaler is the designer of [SOE] The Space on Earth Project and High Tech Buildings such us: SpaceGate, Hotel [SG], Entertainment Center [EC], Space Atrium Hotel, [SAH]. Andromeda [A], Zodiac [Z], Virtual Cyber Center, Space Shape Building [SSB], Space Mission Center [SMC], Space Hotel [SH].

[SOE] The Space on Earth Project is a visionary SPACE tech-utopia outer-space destination... which allows people to actually feel to be in space although being on Earth: a new system of living and interacting with the impossible. [SOE] is comprised of, the Quantum City, City Center, and the Da Vinci Vision. The living areas encompass residential condominiums and units.

Based upon the human challenge to explore, live, and dream in space, Space Gate Hotel is a high-tech networked and augmented reality multi-purpose space themed hotel and interactive virtual recreational center in which guests are able to experience the sense of living in outer space first-hand. In Space Gate Hotel the juxtaposing of artificial and augmented reality into the physical environment allowing the visitors to find themselves within a sort of twilight state where reality and the imaginary exist simultaneously.

Formerly: Professor for Art and Technology, Electronic Visualization, Digital Media, and electronic Arts, [EVL], Electronic Visualization Laboratory School of Art & Design University of Illinois at Chicago [UIC], Chicago, USA.and Leader of the Electronic Visualization Program [EV] at the UIC.Professor for Augmented Reality at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, Professor for Digital Media, Visualization Esthetics and Techniques, Interactive Technology Università degli Studi di Firenze,Master in Multimedia, Florence, Italy.

He gives lectures at several other universities and institutes among which: l’Università Complutense di Madrid, Spagna; il Politecnico di Milano; l’ Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milano, etc.

For two years he had been the curator of "Virtuality and Interactivity.. Digital Renaissance", the "International Exhibition of Digital Arts and Applied Research" of MediARTech, an annual multimedia show, financed and promoted by Tuscany Hi Tech Network and promoted by the region of Tuscany/Italy.

He is the author of the book e-Art ... Art ... Net ... Technology ... Society ... Democracy published in Italian by Editor Riuniti in paperback with accompanying CD-Rom in English, November 2006.
