Milly
Moratti

Married with Massimo Moratti, mother of five sons, after the Master
Degree on Theoretical Physic at University of Milan, she collaborated
with Professor Giovanni degli Antoni at Department of Information
Science, coordinating, among other, the project of restoration’s
archives of “Teatro della Scala”.
She is among the pioners of internet diffusion and its use as tool
of civic participation. She is founder with Giuliano Preparata of
LEDA (Reseacrh lab on cold fusion). From 1999 she is President of
the Foundation Emergency.
In 2002 she founded the Association of Civic Partecipation “Chiamamilano”,
and she is the President. Dal 2001 è Capogruppo dei Verdi-Lista
Civica dell’Arancia al Consiglio Comunale di Milano. Nel 2002
ha fondato l’Associazione di partecipazione civica “Chiamamilano”
di cui è Presidente.
Actually she is City Councilman, Leader Ferrante List at Municipality
of Milan.

Marco
Maiocchi
Born
in Milan, graduated in Physics.
Assistant professor in Computer Science at the University of Milan
since 1973, he is presently full professor at the Polytechnic
of Milan, Faculty of Industrial Design. After more than twenty
years of research in Programming Methodologies, Software Quality
and Software Engineering, he changed his interest field in the
last ten years, toward Internet, Multimedia Communication, Hypertext
Design and.the fore of the form in design. Among the founders
of Etnoteam in 1978, he has been the CEO of I.NET spa till 2004.
He has been responsible of many software projects, also related
to Government Research Projects. He is actively present in many
cultural and artistic avant-gardes. He is author of many books
and hundreds of scientific and popularized papers.

Roberto Dadda
Roberto Dadda, a PhD in chemical engineering, is responsible for
technological innovation at the Banco Ambrosiano Veneto. The laboratory
which he directs is responsible for all Internet operations, electronic
commerce, and all new technologies which apply to the world of banking.
One of his research projects is concerned with developing a Java-based
system for both servers and clients. Roberto Dadda () also holds
courses on 'operating systems and software development' at the IT
School in Milan. Dadda boasts around twenty years of experience
as a journalist and publishes regular contributions on software
development, electronic commerce, push technologies, data banks,
and the professional use of the PC. He is one of the founders of
PC Magazine. He is a member of the consultative committee of Intel,
the Banca d'Italia group for electronic commerce security, and the
technological consultative committee of SMAU. He is also a member
of the jury which assigns SMAU recognition for industrial design.
He is the author of numerous books, including Microsoft ACCESS,
Java e Hot Java, the first book published in Italy on Java technology.

Grazia Mattei
Maria
Grazia Mattei is a journalist and expert in new media. In 1995 she
founded MGM Digital Communication, a research centre for the promotion
of digital culture that specializes in communications initiatives
and services. She has conceived and curated several exhibitions,
international events, festivals and conferences relating to art,
technology and communications, including Meet the Media Guru (2005-2006)
PackAge (2002, Città della Scienza, Napoli); La Fabbrica
dell’Immaginario (2001, Fabbrica del Vapore, Milano); Materiale
e immateriale (1999, MediaTime, Bolzano); Virtual Set (1996, 53a
Biennale Cinema, Venezia); Opera Totale (1995-2002, Centro Culturale
Candiani, Venezia) Oltre il Villaggio Globale (1995, Triennale,
Milano); Mondi Virtuali (1990, Palazzo Fortuny, Venezia); Network
Planetario (1986, Biennale Arti Visive, Venezia). She is a correspondent
for specialist magazines and the Sunday edition of Il Sole 24Ore.
Her contributions are published in several international books and
catalogues including "Art@Science" (Springer Wien, New
York, 1998); Computer Animation Stories (Mare Nero, Roma, 1998).
She has created television programs for the Italian television networks
TVSI, RAI1 and Mediamente-RAI3. She is a new media consultant for
Milan's Chamber of Commerce, and Milan's IBTS (International Broadcasting
and Telecommunications Show at the Fiera di Milano). She is also
a member of the International Siggraph Committee, USA. In 2000 she
founded the Milano ACM SIGGRAPH professional chapter.

Liaty
Pisani
After
a first period dedicated to the poetry, culminated with the publication
of three books in verses, in the eighties she gets on narrative.
She publishes three novels with Mondadori and from ’97 she
writes spy story, publishing in Italy and abroad and achieving a
relevant place in European panorama of this kind of narrative. “Der
Spiegel” defines Liaty as …”master of espionage’s
thriller", and “Die Welt” wrote: “actually
it doesn’t exist espionage stories better than these”.
In Italy
she published with Mondadori, Sperling and Fazi Editore. With Fazi
Editor she published on last September, “ The Spy and the
Rockstar”, a spy story on occult elites which govern the world.

Daniela
Voto
Daniela’s
prime responsibilities include production management, project coordination
and day-to-day operations support of interdisciplinary teams. She
has also other responsibilities, among these are, to preliminary
research and design concepts integrating Music cognition, Art, Neuroscience,
Technology, edu-entertainment and Learning, bringing forth innovative
solutions within the specific sectors of interest. Daniela was born
in Salerno, Italy, and brings with her over 8 years of experience
in organization, coordination and production. Her educational background
includes a Masters in Piano and Literature addressing art history,
in particular. Daniela’s major research field is focus on
Synesthesia, the multi-sensory processes in neuroscience, new approach
to musical and visual composition through audio-visual and interactive
installations. She
is co-founder of the Carl Orff Musical Academy, in Salerno, Italy.
She design and coordinates interdisciplinary courses for teachers
and musicians following the principles of Orff-Schulwerk.
